



the austin alumnae association of kappa kappa gamma is honored to share that the heaven's 27 foundation will be the primary beneficiary of kappa settings in 2026.
this foundation was established by the families of twenty-seven girls who lost their lives in the hill country floods, the foundation honors their enduring light and legacy through scholarships and community programs. the heaven's 27 foundation ensures that their names are remembered and that their spirit of joy and generosity continues to uplift others and make an impact.
kappa settings will also support nami, central texas. Since 1984, nami has been dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families navigating mental health challenges through education, support, and advocacy. nami provides free programs that promote understanding, reduce stigma, and offer critical resources for those navigating mental health challenges- fostering connection, resilience and hope.
We are also proud to support the mental health crisis fund, which was established to help fund therapy, prescription coverage, medication management, and provide resources for families affected by the recent texas hill country flood. This fund works to ensure that families who live outside of kerr county are not overlooked, and that they are provided support in this time of crisis, ensuring that they receive quality, coordinated, and compassionate care from the clinician of their choice, in the city where they reside. The team at the mental health crisis fund offers care navigators who provide a range of services;assisting with accessing mental health care, medication managament, requesting & filing superbills, providing referrals for clinicians, and financial support. According to data gathered by the fund, the cumulative cost to provide therapy support (individual, family, faith-based, play, emdr, and psychotropic medication management) for twenty-six families between january 1, 2027 and the two year mark of this tragedy will be $1,232,306.
